Thanks To Scandinavia awards scholarships each year to outstanding students to study at the university of his or her choice in the United States.  Two scholarships are awarded to students from each country – Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden – for a total of ten awards.

Thanks To Scandinavia welcomes applicants from all academic fields. Applicants must be pursuing a graduate level degree and the scholarship must be used towards tuition or tuition related expenses.  Applicants must be studying towards a full degree program at an American university.  Visiting students do not qualify. All scholarships are $20,000.

Thanks To Scandinavia is pleased to work with our Scandinavian and Bulgarian partner organizations in order to award these annual scholarships. Applicants must apply directly through the organization in their home country. Applications are processed by our partner organizations but TTS makes the final selections.

Application deadlines and requirements vary by country. Please contact the organization directly for details. It is highly recommended to reach out to the contact person for your country listed below before beginning the application process. You can also contact info@thankstoscandinavia.org with questions.

Please note: Please do not contact the partner organization below for information on TTS scholarships at specific universities as the application process for those scholarships is separate.
